The central, historic district of Krakow, former royal capital of Poland (till the beginings of 17 century).

Surrounded by Planty Garden (replacing former city walls and moat) with a centrally located Main Market Square (one of the largest medieval squares in Europe) and bisected by the Royal Road (from Barbican and St. Florian`s Gate to Wawel Hill).

Vibrant with life and crowded it is full of attactions such as Cloth Hall (Sukiennice), St. Mary`s Church, Collegium Maius (the oldest headquarter of Jagiellonian University) and many others. As well as hundreds of pubs, restaurants and clubs. 

Added the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1978.
