Getting aroung Krakow is easy. Municipal trams and buses reaches almost every important place (inlcuding ZOO, Mound of Kosciuszko, airport, etc.) Single ticket costs 2.5 zloty and is valid for one journey (no matter the distance). Ticket must be validated on boarding. Other tickest prices are:
1h = 3,10 zloty
24hrs = 10 zloty
48hrs = 18,80 zloty
72hrs = 25,00 zloty

Tickets are available at every newsstand, at tickest machines and from the driver (a bit more expensive).
